One of the most spectacular sights in the area is Swans, both Trumpeter and Tundra, and other birds such as Bald and Golden Eagles. All these can be seen right at the Homesteader Lodge on the lakeshore observation deck. Moose and Mule and Whitetail Deer as well as bears may be viewed on sight or on tour.

Our lodge is close to Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway, so why not stop for a break on the way up to Alaska. So if you're travelling this way phone us up book a date and come and stay the night.
